DAVID'S OFF GRID ENERGY PROJECT SITE VISITS

Glad to share snippets of my journey as a Renewable Energy Expert powering Africa and democratizing access to renewable energy in unserved and underserved climes. These projects which I lead have generated about 2 MegaWatts of off-grid electricity and created over 10,000 connections affecting over 8,000 households, and 2,000 businesses and impacting over 500,000 people.

I was invited to speak on Aljazeera on the recent flood situation in Nigeria which has led to the loss of over 600 lives and displaced millions of citizens. Has Nigeria done enough to prevent deadly flooding? Hundreds of people have died in the worst flooding in a decade in northeastern Nigeria.   David Arinze is an Off-Grid Energy Expert and an Electrical Engineer who is passionate about increasing electricity access to deprived climes through relevant energy sources. His Electricity Supply Industry experience revolves around Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Off-Grid Energy. DAVID ARINZE SPEAKS ON UNITED NATIONS WEB TV   Youth activists noted how young people are sources of solutions despite a lack of matching financial support from governments and other actors, and called on governments to provide finance and training. A number of speakers throughout the Forum encouraged youth participants to continue to bring energy to the discussion on solutions.
